David Sedaris Book Signing Mechanics

1. The book signing is open to everyone.

2. Those who already have copies of David Sedaris’ books need not purchase anything to have ONE (1) BOOK signed. No SIGNING PASS is required.

3. To have more copies signed, purchase any book by David Sedaris from July 1-29, 2006 at any Powerbooks branch.

One book purchase = have Three (3) books signed.

4. Simply present your Official Receipt/s dated July 1-29, 2006 at the Customer Service counter of any Powerbooks branch to obtain a SIGNING PASS. You may use this Signing Pass at any of the scheduled dates. Each Signing Pass is valid for one-time use only.
One (1) book purchase = One (1) Signing pass.
- Signing Pass will contain:
· Number of books to be signed
· Signature of C.S.A.

4. To better facilitate order, Powerbooks will be issuing NUMBERED STUBS that will be given out on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS on the day of the book signing (Registration Booth opens 3 hours before the event). Each person is allowed One (1) Numbered Stub for each signing schedule.

Book signing schedule is as follows:
a. July 27, 2006, 6:00 PM; Powerbooks Shangri-La Plaza
b. July 28, 2006, 5:00 PM; Powerbooks Alabang
c. July 29, 2006, 5:00 PM; Powerbooks Greenbelt

5. On the day of the book signing, customers must present their SIGNING PASS at the registration booth in order to get a Numbered Stub. Those who intend to have only One (1) copy signed must also register to get a Numbered Stub.

- Customers will be given numbered stubs that contain the following information:
· A number indicating the customer’s place in line.
· Signature of Registration Booth attendant.
- Customers must line up according to the number indicated on the numbered stub.
- Customers must present the numbered stub and signing pass to the usher stationed at the start of the line for checking.

* David Sedaris can only sign books for a maximum of two hours per session.
